Here's my better half in his tie-dyed hippy dippy t-shirt. We were at the Canterbury Folk Festival in Ingersoll and he was photographing Ted Comiskey who was performing at the time. Geoff was shooting with the sound booth in the foreground framing Ted on the stage. Little did he know that I was shooting him in his Haight Ashbury shirt, the sound booth and the stage.
By the way, there were LOTS of old hippies at the festival.
Okay...I LOVE that shirt! I need to get one of those!
ReplyDeleteFar out man! I'm stilla hippy wannabe.
ReplyDeleteI would have fit right in...wish I was there!

Great shirt and wonderful way to start round 5.

That's funny! It's like one of those surreal paintings with a scene within a scene within a scene! LOL!
ReplyDeleteLove those curly locks, - they remind me of one of my sons - does a beard go with them?
ReplyDeleteThis sure takes me back! :D
ReplyDeleteHildred and Charles - I know, most women would kill for those curls. No beard but a moustache and a soul patch.
ReplyDeleteAwww! great shot & great A post too!
ReplyDeleteWe were just at the Vancouver Island Music Festival in Courtenay last weekend. Some of the same kinds of shirts and clothing there. Aren't these festivals fun?
ReplyDeleteOld hippies are the best!

We LOVE outside music festivals. Someday we're going to get in the motorhome and travel the country, looking for them! What a blast that would be!
ReplyDeleteI always find it amusing to photograph the photographer !!
