I had to look up Canada Day (sorry for my ignorance). I like the patriotic shop at the top.
Hi Scriptor, Once upon a time (1867 to 1982) July 1st was known as Dominion Day and marked the anniversary of our Confederation on July 1, 1867. An act of our Parliament officially changed the name to Canada Day in 1982.
Oh how beautiful-- love the patriotic display--- What kind of ice cream???Vicki
Hi Vicki - the taste treat was Rum and Raisin for me and Maple Walnut for Geoff. Yummy!
