The theme for this week's Friday My Town Shoot Out is "rust - rusty - rustic". It could be a colour or a place, we were encouraged to think outside the box.
I think the early morning light gives this rustic scene an air of romance.
This shed is both rusty and rustic.

Very nice, I love the field like waves :)
ReplyDeleteYes Tina, the wheat does look wavey indeed. It almost seems to have been harvested to different heights.
ReplyDeleteThese are very beautiful. The lighting on the first one is exquisite.
ReplyDeleteI agree with Mark's choice of word. The first shot is exquisite. I must get out of bed earlier!
ReplyDeleteLove that first photo, simply beautiful, something that's not found in my urban little island .
ReplyDeleteIt is very beautiful!! I like how the light bath the ground with golden hues, awesome sight!
ReplyDeleteRust,rusty,rustic
Lighting is indeed good. Amazing photos. I have not got the hang of using the light to advantage. Maybe not out the right time.

The morning light is wonderful. It's so atmospheric.
ReplyDeleteI love that first shot. Absolutely stunning.
ReplyDeleteThanks for the kind words on the first photo. It's what I like to call a "drive-by shooting" - which means Geoff was driving the car and I was taking the photo out of the open passenger side window. This was a beautiful, warm morning - he's not so happy when I do it in the winter....
ReplyDeleteI love the composition and the lines in the first photo. It is absolutely beautiful and rustic.
ReplyDeleteOh I should have thought of "rustic" that is beautiful! I love them both hon..so miss the farm I grew up on!!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shot of the field. They are so attractive when they are first mowed, aren't they?
ReplyDeleteI love that golden light that happens again later in the day sometimes. So beautiful!
ReplyDeleteElaine, that first shot is stunning. The golden field and the barn, the equipment over there in the corner :)
ReplyDeleteLove it. Love it. That first one is super. Love your new banner. And yes, that is me in Italy. I have changed direction, so you never know what you will find on my blog. Yippee! Hey to Gray and Geoff.

Makes me think of the colours of fall, but I'm not ready for that. Summer just arrived here on the coast. The water in the lake never got warm enough for me to even get one swim before I had to leave. - Margy
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures--Fields and barns are two of my favorites to see and take pictures of!
ReplyDeleteI knew the theme would bring out the best in you. VG would have been inspired to paint the first photograph.
ReplyDeleteLove these barn shots ~
