In the midst of the joy of spring and renewal I am reminded of the fragility of our existence and of the cycle of life. Yesterday we lost our dear cousin, Sonia - known affectionately as Tony, or Tone.
In this photo, taken in the mid-sixties, she is the tall young woman with her hands gently placed around her younger sister Deborah's shoulders. She will be missed.
I am sorry to hear of your loss, the circle of life hurts when we rediscover it in a loss. XXX Don

ReplyDeletePlease accept my love and prayers.
I am sorry as well. There is not much anyone can really say. Just be there with you in thought and prayer.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful photo, Elaine. So sorry to hear about your loss. Thank you introducing us to Tone. It would have been nice to have known her.
ReplyDeleteIn 1965, I was seventeen. The photo reminds me of many of my loved ones who have passed on.
