Unfortunately, I can't seem to think of one public location in Woodstock that would have an aquarium. There are a couple of pet shops but there's too great a risk of me going home with a new kitten if I go into one of those....
So, I've settled on a photo of my no-maintenance seahorse. This glass seahorse is attached by filament to a glass ball and it floats around in a water filled glass jar in our livingroom.
Pretty lame, I know. I'm looking forward to much more exciting posts from other Shoot Out participants.
More kittens! More kittens!
ReplyDeleteI think your seahorse in a jar is kinda cool.
Now, I could handle that aquarium! A breath of fresh air!
ReplyDeletethe first photo is actually pretty interesting. Because it is so warm here I didn't think of the problems all you Northerners might have getting photos.... so many of you are home bound. We can always do this again when you've moved back outdoors.... we could do fish ponds...?
ReplyDeleteI like your approach, Elaine :) I don't think it's lame at all.
ReplyDeleteThat's a very cute idea!
ReplyDeletewhat an unusual colour. What do you feed it? Don't let a Chinese get hold of it. they use it for medicine.
ReplyDeleteRemember everyone - this is a glass seahorse. I don't have to feed it and I don't have to worry about the cat trying to eat it.
ReplyDeleteYep, that's a nice low maintenance aquarium you have there! I love your cold, watery header this week.
ReplyDeleteI think your seahorse would be right at home with my blue starfish!
ReplyDeleteVery nice seahorse. I also am tempted to bring home kittens when I visit a pet store.
ReplyDeleteA clever idea I must say.
ReplyDeleteCute! I actually thought, or had my own lame ideas, some carried out, some left to the drawing board!
ReplyDeleteReally cute, and in the glass jar...is it getting air :)
That sea horse is so cute! I may just have to steal your amazing idea for my own living room :)
ReplyDeleteOh, I love the sea horse in a jar! I want one!
ReplyDeleteThat is the best kind of fish to have. I so hate see things trapped in cages and glass containers. I refuse to go to zoos and aquariums (and the circus).
ReplyDeleteGood choice, Elaine, of both photo and fish aquarium.
