On January 30, 2009 the snow in front of our house was piled up high enough that even Geoff would have to look up to see the top. Granted, it was this high because the snow blower threw it this high but, trust me, we had a LOT of snow.
Today, January 29, 2010, it was a miserable blowy, snowy, very cold day but you had to look down to see the top of the snow.
We've had very little snow to date but, as we well know around here, there's plenty of time for the weather to go horribly wrong yet....the first day of spring is a long way off.....
And it's pure concidence that Geoff is wearing pretty much the same clothes in both photos. I guess that's how a snow measuring guage dresses.

ReplyDeleteGood job! I wouldn't want to be a snow climber to see how dense it is! Ha, sorry little snow humor...I woke up to it snowing, but it was gone by the afternoon!
ReplyDeleteI like that he looks exactly the same a year later! :^)
ReplyDeleteThe only thing white around here is beach sand. I'll take it! It's good to reminded how some live, though.
ReplyDeleteSend some of that snow over here, it's too hot here!

ReplyDeleteWow. I wouldn't know what to do in all that snow. That's really a great shot of how high it is. It looks very pretty.

ReplyDeleteMen!!! They don't care much for clothes don't they, except if he is a metro sexual.
My husband went overseas for an importsnt work assignment. As a civil engineer, he normally doesn't wear a tie. One hour before he went, he couldn't find his ties, I looked too, but in vain. Then he said, never mind, the meetings won't be that formal.
That is one big pile of snow to look up at! :)
ReplyDeleteElaine, it amazes me how your weather is so similar to ours in Vermont. Really, we're not that close to one another :)
ReplyDeleteWhat a difference! I heard they are shipping snow in to the Olympics because there has been so little and now you have shown it to be true.
ReplyDeleteSnow should only come down on ski slopes.
ReplyDeleteNever on driveways. Thenit should stay up!
