Moose are such amazing creatures. My NYC born husband loves to quote a statistic about Maine - more people are tragically killed in Maine by hitting a moose with their cars than by other people. I know a bit morbid but interesting nonetheless.
That is a great panoramic shot of you, I have yet to use my camera on that setting, but now will give it a go...love the moose, and have wanted to stumble upon them one day; its on my list of animals to see in person, and outside of a zoo, but not suddenly like Denise's comment :)
The moose look very relaxed, grazing. Grazing is a peaceful activity. The water looks very impressionistic. You have such a way with a camera, Elaine. Have a peaceful week.
Thanks for the kind comments everyone. I have marginal online time this week so I won't have the opportunity to make the rounds and visit my Shoot Out pals. I will have one next Friday on "signs" though - have a great week everyone!

OK, rub it in. We drove all that way and never saw a moose. But maybe we were traveling a bit too fast. - Margy

ReplyDeleteAs an outdoor guy, I really appreciate your photos of relaxation. The Moose are great and I could sit and watch them and the water forever.
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't necessarily put moose and relaxing in the same context, but I like the originality of it!

ReplyDeletea photo of moose how cool is that. I tried to enlarg to see what the yellow {plants} is in the water but couldn't make it out, do you know?
ReplyDeleteEvery moose I've seen has been super relaxed. I understand they can get quite aggresive, though. But, they do know how to take it easy.
