Friday Shoot Out - interesting signs

Normally, I would post photos from my town but I've been on vacation. So here's one I took last week when Deborah and I walked the Green Point Trail in Gros Morne National Park

A good re-purposing for an old lobster trap and a buoy.

  1. That certainly says it all. How relaxing, and what beautiful photos you have been sharing with us while on vacation.

Poor Gray. Hurry home so we can see his face again.

  2. I think it's a funny sign - it is the short or long I sound? The lobster are alive for today. Or is it that we should all live for today because you never know when you'll be washed up and broken.

  3. I love it. A random little reminder out in the middle of nowhere. It's perfect. That's the kind of reminder that actually gets you to think about it.

  6. Glorious photo and the sort of sign I like to see. Makes the glossy, commercial signs look silly, doesn't it?

  8. Live for Today are great words to find in a lobster trap on the farthest reaches of Canada. You will miss Newfoundland when you leave. Karen who works with me has her mom and dad and half her heart in St. John's. I've not visited yet, but I will. Your pictures from your trip have been gorgeous. Thanks.=D

  10. I was thinking along the same lines as J9...It is a sign to the lobster - "live for today because tomorrow you may get eaten!"
