In the meantime I planted two hanging pots on the veranda today so we do have back up if the nest in the tree falls apart the first time someone in the next county blows out birthday candles. Seriously, the nest is that bad. Mourning doves are known to be rather poor architects and builders. I'll keep you posted.

Mourning Dove update
Our crazy doves are back. Well, sort of . They're on the property. In a tree. In a very precarious nest . We'll see how this works out.
In the meantime I planted two hanging pots on the veranda today so we do have back up if the nest in the tree falls apart the first time someone in the next county blows out birthday candles. Some are great home handymen and some just aint. Doves are rather spap dash about their housing.

ReplyDeleteThanks Patty, my PowerShot SX100 serves me well. Gray hasn't figured out that the doves are in the tree. He's a little slow on the uptake sometimes.
