Early start

I had a wee bit of a head start this morning so I dropped up to the Fanshawe College Campus here in Woodstock to see what was happening on the pond. It was very quiet but I did find a pair of Mallards and took these two shots of the male.

I know this one is a bit of a rude view but his feathers looked so beautiful I couldn't resist.Oh, and this was happening at the same time...
