On Saturday I raked our front lawn. Many of my blogging and Facebook friends who live in areas that still have snow cover were astonished.
This is what we woke to this morning......many would say it's my own fault...
Poor June Cleaver was really hunkered down on her nest. I hope the weather warms up before the chicks hatch, by my calculations it could be this coming weekend. Brrrrr.
Kim the snow was gone by noon but, enough already! It's amazing how much of our coming and going the doves tolerate. But they have a great in-out-of-the-weather spot there so clumsy humans aren't a big deal.
I love your header pic:) it's pretty. The color of the building is really beautiful. There's always something about brick buildings that says about grace and age.
You call that snow!! It looks like a light dusting of icing sugar. Don't get me started about snow...... And I did warn you about bragging about raking your garden.
We are due better weather this week ..........at last . Hope to see some of my birds nesting soon
ReplyDeleteDoh, not more snow!!! The dove does look concerned. I too hope she doesn't have her babies until it warms up some. So cute how she looks in at you.
