One of the advantages to my husband writing weekly columns in two different newspapers is that he has the freedom to write about a wide variety of topics. Last week, in writing about the death of Clarence Henhawke, he was able to pay tribute to a great friend and a well loved member of the community in Ingersoll, Ontario.
This photo (circa early 1970s) , contributed by Clarence's family, shows him as his persona "Chief Golden Hawke" - a professional wrestler . Clarence was proud of his native heritage, family, friends and his personal achievements inside and outside the sports arena.
