We should have known, when it looked like this (above) from my office window on February 1st, that we were in for an interesting month.
On the 5th it looked more like the Isthmus of Avalon in Newfoundland than Woodstock, Ontario. I felt right at home.
The 7th brought freezing rain and a sparkly view from my office AND
snow later in the day
Today, February 12th we drove home along Highway 2 from a meeting in London in this. Never a dull moment. The good news about driving home in this poor excuse for visibility was that my very capable co-worker, Marilyn, was at the wheel - leaving the rest of us to worry about the state of the weather. And to think we have 17 more days to go in February......
