A trip down the Burgeo highway to Sand Banks Provincial Park

Note to self, or anyone driving down the Burgeo highway : the distance from the Trans Canada Highway to Burgeo is 90 miles (150km) NOT 90km.  Second note - the 150km drive was worth it.

Tons of rain on route but the Weather Network promised sunshine for our destination on Thursday, August 15th.

The Weather Network was right about the weather!   Cousin, Deborah and alpha dog, Tucker, heading for the beach.

Tucker decided to throw a photo bomb into the mix.

Sandbanks Provincial Park is gorgeous!

And the sun came and went over the barrens and hills on our return trip to Corner Brook.

  1. Thanks for letting me relive the summer fun through your beautiful pictures. Tucker says sorry about the photo bomb but he has no regrets about the Flake Bar.

    1. I'm just happy that Tucker survived the Flake bar (and wrapper) consumption!
