I saw one lone mallard flying up river and my nemesis the Belted Kingfisher flew past me with his brilliant colours blazing in the sunlight - alas, still no photo. I did manage to get a clear shot of four Canada Geese.

I've missed not having any snow this year. But now that I've said that, I'm sure we'll get a freak storm that will last for days and stick on the ground for more. Even the high country is snow free. One road that is usually impassible until June is open already. Scary! - Margy
