While these are not exactly standard lighthouses, you're not likely to see this many in one spot. I'm guessing that building mini lighthouses is the hobby of someone who lives in the house just behind them. I took this photo on August 16th when I was in Newfoundland on vacation. I believe this was near Loon Bay. Aren't they cute?!

I love lighthouses whether they are real or just mini's. Great shot and the header picture is lovely too.
Oh these are lovely, I love lighthouses!
lunatic Loon Bay lighthouses - lovely!
Love all the colors! So bright and crisp!
I wouldn't have ever guessed those were lighthouses, I would have thought they were chicken coops or something! I always think a lighthouse is tall and with red and white stripes. But perhaps that is just the way Dutch lighthouses look!
We had the same idea!
Must be because we are Canadian -lol!
I am in Cambridge - my husband is related to Dales. (email me if you'd like - maybe there is a connection!)
Mara, these are model lighthouse strictly for decoration. Glad you like them!
I have always wanted one of those! Love the pic.
Oh, what fun! Great L.
Lovely fun structures, - Lighthouses always look Lonely, but these are quite social!

Someone has talent and a great love for lighthouses.
In this case, I think "L" is for love.
I love lighthouses, and these are lovely.
Very nice, I love lighthouses and just have not gotten to see many. This looks to be a great hobby for someone who does it very well.
This is a very beautiful collection of lighthouses! Thanks for sharing!
Love it! I especially like the way you presented it.
The lighthouse maker and the photographer are both very skilled.
Love all the different shapes, what a nice thing to come across and share.
Many many years ago, we have "Three sisters" lighthouse on Cape Cod which consisted of three lights. The ships were lined up the three lights to safely come into harbor. I do not think it is the case here. Interesting post.
