Hawk spotting

We saw four hawks on route to London this afternoon. Here's one we found on a hydro tower on Clarke Road, just north of Fanshawe Road

  1. Great photo! I enjoy seeing the hawks we have around here--Except when they're out to make a meal out of one of the small birds ... ;-)

  2. I know they are fierce predators but, don't you just want to stroke those feathers?

  3. He's beautiful. I have to keep a sharp eye out for hawks or they will take off with my chickens but I still can't help but admire them.

  5. Hawks make me smile. We are starting to see them more and more as winter is starting up down here. They like to migrate to cooler temps:)

  6. We saw what I think was a red-tailed hawk across from the cabin the other day. We startled it out of a tree when we went by in our boat. - Margy
