Skywatch Friday - on the way to the dentist

I have about a half hour drive from my home to the office of my dentist, Dr. Rob Bamford. Over time, I've lucked into a few decent shots. This morning my appointment was at 8 a.m. so I stopped for the first blush of the sunrise in Mt. Elgin.

  1. First of all...dentist...ew!!!!

I love your barn and homestead shots. The pink blush behind the house is just beautiful. You can see the colour reflected in the barn windows.

  9. Elaine- photos taken at the first blush of day-- I love them! Yours are spectacular! I maybe could take a nice daybreak picture - but I'm always on the interstate heading to work- somehow "daybreak" over the interstate" just doesn't get it---Lol!!

  10. That is indeed a lovely sunrise but I'm almost more interested in the place you took the photo. I went to school in Elgin in Moray, Scotland. I know there's an Elgin in Illinois in the US, but I didn't know there was one in Canada. I know about Craigellachie in Canada - I spent the first 4 years of my life in the one in Scotland, and everyone in the village knows of the famous Canadian one.
