  5. Very beautiful bird and excellent photography! We actually have quite a diversity of birds in New City but I don't know that we have the Northern Flicker.

  8. I bought my Mom a bird feeder for her condo porch. I thought the birds might entertain her in the early morning before she got up (meaning before I got up to get her up). The first six months brought very little activity. Then a Northern Flicker and a Blue Jay started coming regularly. They make a huge mess, but the entertainment factor is worth all the sweeping. - Margy
