i wonder if they come south to NYSROG, ABC wednesday team
That's a great photo. I haven't seen a northern flicker in a long while -- 'course I'm in the south!
Beautiful!Nostalgic, is one of my ABC entries. Come by any time you get a chance. Have a great day!
Very beautiful bird and excellent photography! We actually have quite a diversity of birds in New City but I don't know that we have the Northern Flicker.
Really interesting looking bird. Nice shot!
This is a bird we don't see in UK. I love the name:-)
oh wow - lovely
I bought my Mom a bird feeder for her condo porch. I thought the birds might entertain her in the early morning before she got up (meaning before I got up to get her up). The first six months brought very little activity. Then a Northern Flicker and a Blue Jay started coming regularly. They make a huge mess, but the entertainment factor is worth all the sweeping. - Margy
Elaine- your friend seems to be very patient sitting there-- he is beautiful. I don't think we have those birds here--Vicki
