Friday My Town Shoot Out - Simplicity / Double Take

The Shoot Out theme this week is compliments of Rebecca - "Simplicity: Double Takes"

I think this photo fits the bill.  It's one from my favorite trail and it is simple, yet for a moment you might do a double take and think "what IS that?!"  A cluster of mushrooms/fungi lifting their faces to the sun.

  2. I always stop to look at mushrooms like this, marveling at how they can hang on so tightly. So cool.

  3. What an awsome photo! Mushrooms are so neat sometimes - I love finding them in the woods. I've taken many a picture of mushrooms in the past - love this one! Perfect for your double take theme!

  5. Wow, Elaine, I've not visited in a little while. Love your header! I agree, walking through the woods and especially finding precious little mushrooms reaching to the sun...mmmmhhhmmm...pure simplicity!

Stop over to see a little bit of Vermont's simplicity, through my eyes, if you like.

    Best to you, Heather
