A pair of Northern Cardinals visit our feeders during a heavy rain. The female in the foreground is on top of the feeder hooks and the male in the background is sitting in a small willow.
I'll bet they are as sick and tired of this rain as we are. We have a pair nesting in the cedars in the back yard. Not feeding them though. Too many cats around here. I don't want to provide lunch for them.

ReplyDeleteMom's feeder gets sporadic visits. I got it for entertainment, but the birds aren't keeping up their part of the bargain. - Margy
