The theme for this week's FSO is "yellow".
After a long winter, I welcome the prospect of yellow. About the only yellow I've seen through the winter has been on school buses and on the bridge that leads to my favorite trail.
There is some potted yellow about. These lovely blooms are on a desk in my office building.
But, after being down to almost zero snow, we had a snow day yesterday and now we're back to this, no yellow in sight.....
The calendar might say it's spring but, for the moment, Mother Nature has a different idea.

Such pretty daffodils and perfect for the yellow theme. I hope they will pop up when the snow melts. Great photo of the bridge and walkway, I bet it's a pretty view when spring finally arrives. Let's hope it's soon!
ReplyDeleteI love your blog you did very good.
ReplyDeleteI have one question tho. What is that yellow spot in the snow ? My sister lives in Wi and she always warnes me about eating yellow snow. LOL
I love the photo of the bridge. Great subject and photo. Snow, snow you can go away. It was beautiful in Ky. for several days. Now it is cold again.

The spring snow can't last too long, can it? The yellow bridge is very striking against the wintry background; I like it very much.
ReplyDeleteLove the yellow railings and the daffodils. And a good snow shot even if no yellow in sight. I just came over from Ed and Reub's site and looked hard at your snow picture.
ReplyDeleteI like the color of that bridge in the winter grey of day!
ReplyDeleteThat bridge looks wonderful at any time of year! The yellow railings add a touch of cheer, and daffodils always lift the spirits. And, as always, your photos can't be beaten.
ReplyDeleteThat yellow bridge is such an eye catcher! love it.
ReplyDeleteI know the "sigh" feeling. Just now most of our snow seems to have finally thawed away... but there is still a threat hanging over us that we might get snow again on Sunday...
ReplyDeleteGlorious, radiant daffodils! But I love the arched yellows on the bridge! Like a sunlight pathway!

That bridge is pretty cool. Wow it's still very cold were you are. I'll stop complaining about how cold the wind blows here.
