My World Tuesday

Today, this particular Tuesday, was a day for a root canal - so I spent the morning at the dentist (a shout out to Dr. Rob Bamford and his awesome staff in Tillsonburg, Ontario).

On the way home and back to work, we took Sweaburg Road to avoid the hectic traffic of the 401 and encountered the hectic traffic of a "murder" of crows. No crows were injured in the shooting of this photo.

Meanwhile back at home, the world's most regal cat was holding court.

How was YOUR Tuesday?

  1. Have you noticed that the crow population seems to have exploded recently? When we were kids people would say, "oh look, a crow, spring must be coming". Now we have them with us year round ripping open our garbage on garbage day and generally making a lot of noise. It wouldn't have bothered me one little bit if a few crows HAD been "murdered" in that photo shoot. Loving the kittie by the way...he looks so soft.

  2. Here in Woodstock the crows move from one neighbourhood to another based on where garbage pick up day is occuring - it's truly bizarre.

  3. My Tuesday was a lot more laid back than yours, it seems! I HATE Dentists!! {My teeth like them, but I HATE them! LOL} The photo of your kitty was pretty much ME yesterday! :-))

  5. It's always so nice to stop and visit here, even if the topic is crows and root canals. Your regal cat (beautiful picture) is me today. My regal dog has been out in the yard all morning barking at the crazy squirrels. I think the neighbours will be putting my house up for sale any day now, or they will be sending me over a murder of crows.
Crows are way more intelligent than most people think.
Reporters were concerned on the news last month about the hordes of crows inhabiting the city parks in Ottawa. Thanks for posting Elaine. Beautiful pictures. =)

  6. I like this! It has a murder, a regal cat, and a visit to the dentist that didn't seem so awful. Excellent.

  7. The crow photo reminds me of Van Gogh's crows and field painting, except with snow. I love it. And of course I love Gray's photo. He is so handsome. We showed it to Skipper. Cats can really be hams and we have two big fat ones on our hands, don't we?
