A day trip out the shore

If you can believe it, this is the view from a gas station in Corner Brook, Newfoundland. Cousin Deborah and I were just heading out on a road trip to Frenchman's Cove, York Harbour, Lark Harbour and Little Port.
Splashes of nautical colour in Frenchman's Cove.
A Greater Yellow Legs at Little Port.
And finally, me, holding tough against the RDF (rain, drizzle and fog) at York Harbour - it was glorious!

  1. Wow...you surely wouldn't complain about the cost of gas if you could look out at scenery like that while you pumped.

  2. Thanks for the preview - can't wait until next week!
I love the RDF on your glasses. Do you ever look like your Dad in that photo. Love, Me

  5. I don't know what to say. Each photo (and I looked at each and every photo) is beautiful and unique in its own way, and as usual, you have a way of capturing what you see. You look cold in that last photo, though.

You should sell some of these photos for publication or at least copyright them so someone will not swipe them. I have found it necessary to copyright all of my photos.

I have been really busy but hope that after the Labor Day weekend events, my time to visit my blogging friends will expand. I have been missing your adventures and Skipper has wondered if Gray was OK.

I will try and get back before your trip is over. If not, send me an email, so I won't miss anything.

    Have a great time!

  6. Elaine, I haven't had time for looking at blogs lately and look what I've been missing! After you last trip I thought about putting Newfoundland on my Bucket List. It is definitely there now. Think my luggage will be overweight with woolies, though, you look cold.
