Friday My Town Shoot Out - my favorite colour

I've always been partial to green. When I started preparing for this post I surfed to find what the colour green symbolizes and found this at Emily Gems:

"Green is the color of nature, fertility, life. Grass green is the most restful color. Green symbolizes self-respect and well being. Green is the color of balance. It also means learning, growth and harmony."

Here are some bits of green from my Secret Garden.

  5. isn't this topic great - we will see as many different ideas as there are colors. I love greens in nature - but really dislike cloths that at green - green eyes yes, green undies NO. The ivy leaf is my fav without a doubt.

  10. Thanks for telling me about Green. Mine's green too.

That last photo, once I saw an asparagus plant in slow motion. Your photo reminds me of it.

  15. Happy Spring! We have had some wonderful days but Mother Nature only teases us for now.

I have been out of the loop - very busy - but wanted to drop in and say hello to you and Geoff. Skipper has also been missing Gray. He wants to know why he has not moved in over a week.

That last photo is fantastic. Almost looks like 3-D.

I finally broke down and sent my Nikon 300 and 700 in for cleaning (just full of dust and cat hair). The next day, my SB 900 flash broke. I have been limping along with an old camera and flash - not great for my kind of work but it gets the job done.

Glad you got your post card from Vegas.

    Wishing you an early spring!
