Friday My Town Shoot Out - Circles

Kerry of Corvallis, Oregon chose this week's theme - circles. If you visit Kerry's blog you'll get to meet Ed and Reuben - they're real hams, you'll love them.

So, here's my shot at the theme -

Crows flying against the circle that guards over us each night.
A circle full of flowers on bone china. This cookie plate is part of a tea set that belonged to my friend Mildred who recently passed away - her son and daughter passed it on to me. The circle of life.
This crochet filled circle catching the sunrise was a handmade gift from my friend Marilyn.

Please visit our Mr. Linky page for more fun with circles.

  4. I would love to eat off of that plate (like anyone would let me), watch the sunrise through the lace, and chase those crows under the moon.

  10. Glad to know those are crows! My first thought were that the moon is inhabited by giant flying dragons!

  14. That truly is an amazing moon shot, however, I really love the crochet filled circle. There is something very mystic or spiritual about it.

  17. The shot of the crows against the moon was a pure fluke. I was taking shots of the almost full moon when crows flew off a tree near me, it was luck that they crossed the moon. Right place, right time.

  19. Elaine - That is a stunning photo. My Brother-in-law has told me of looking through his scope at night and seeing migrating birds against the moon. What a gorgeous shot you've taken here.
