Friday My Town Shoot Out - Look up, look down

On January 30, 2009 the snow in front of our house was piled up high enough that even Geoff would have to look up to see the top. Granted, it was this high because the snow blower threw it this high but, trust me, we had a LOT of snow.

Today, January 29, 2010, it was a miserable blowy, snowy, very cold day but you had to look down to see the top of the snow.

We've had very little snow to date but, as we well know around here, there's plenty of time for the weather to go horribly wrong yet....the first day of spring is a long way off.....

And it's pure concidence that Geoff is wearing pretty much the same clothes in both photos. I guess that's how a snow measuring guage dresses.

  10. I thought it is a cold winter, what happened to the snow?

Men!!! They don't care much for clothes don't they, except if he is a metro sexual.

My husband went overseas for an importsnt work assignment. As a civil engineer, he normally doesn't wear a tie. One hour before he went, he couldn't find his ties, I looked too, but in vain. Then he said, never mind, the meetings won't be that formal.

  12. Elaine, it amazes me how your weather is so similar to ours in Vermont. Really, we're not that close to one another :)

  14. Snow should only come down on ski slopes.

Never on driveways. Thenit should stay up!
