ABC Wednesday -"G" is for Gros Morne National Park

Part 1 of 2, photos of Gros Morne National Park and area communities.

Deborah and I spent 2 nights and 3 days in the park from August 10-12. We've visited the park a number of times over the years, starting with a very damp camping trip in the summer of 1976. These days we like our creature comforts.

This is the entrance to the park, pretty stunning for starters, don't ya think?

Gulls (another "g") taking it easy on the wharf at Lomond.

The highway to Trout River passes these spectacular peaks of the Tableland Mountains

Looking up Bonne Bay towards Glenburnie (yet another "g"!)and Winter House Brook.

Norris Point with a touch of "dry brush" effect from Photoshop

  2. Ah, the wide open road. Love it. Love all the photos. Except for the mountains the seagull photo looks like our town.

Love the filtering you did on the last photo.

Check out my blog - look for the sailboat in the water. Something for you.

Gray is just adorable. Great shot, too.

  9. Love the gull photo - and what you've done to the landscape, too. Dry Brush is one of my favourite filters for photos!
