ABC Wednesday - "T" is for Tableland Mountains

"T" is for Tablelands Mountains in Newfoundland. The Tablelands run through Gros Morne National Park which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Aren't they stunning?

My cousin Deborah and I were on one of our "Thelma and Lousie" road trips (no one got hurt) and these photos were taken on the road to Trout River (below).
I'm looking forward to taking many more photos in the area when I visit this summer. Stay tuned.
For more fun from the letter "T" please visit ABC Wednesday.

  4. Beautiful! I too like the first shot the best - it looks like a painting, in a way! Can't wait to see more from your adventures!

  6. Ginger, obviously I'm a little biased about Newfoundland because it's where I was born. I go home for vacations to visit family and to be a "tourist". This summer Deborah and I will visit the Tablelands area again as my niece Sarah is a Technician at the Gros Morne Theatre Festival. I promise I will take LOTS of photos to post.

  11. Beautiful scenery! It's so funny that you mentioned your Thelma and Louise trips--a blogger friend labeled another good friend and I "Thelma and Louise" because we were often going on gardening adventures:) I enjoy your blog; so sorry about the doves' nest. That always seems to happen here, too, during storms. Thanks for sharing!
