Our Town Shoot Out - Public Transit

There are is multitude of arguments for public transportation. Not the least of which is that it's a great alternative to walking when the weather's as wet as it was this morning. The yellow light in this photo is a headlight on one of our Woodstock city buses. The rain was almost biblical in nature -I considered getting a cut list ready for an ark.... So, even though anyone using the buses today still needed to walk to a bus stop, I'm sure it was better than the prospect of walking the whole distance to their destination.
You'll find a list of Shoot Out participants a little ways down on the right side of this blog.

  8. Love the clothesline shot. About 15 years ago I got the perfect feature shot for the newspaper of someone hanging clothes in high winds up on a hill. I have yet to find a comparable one, but I keep looking, so clotheslines always intrigue me.

They all have stories to tell, too - little articles of clothing, each with a piece of the story woven inside.

Love the misty shot. They are always intriguing.
