Frank Lloyd Wright and the Falls

My brother Rob is a huge Frank Lloyd Wright fan so we decided to visit the Darwin Martin House (above) in Buffalo and Graycliff (below) in Derby, New York while he and Caroline were here from Newfoundland.
Many of the stones on Graycliff contain fossils.
Our final stop on the two day trip was at the American side of Niagara Falls. Here Rob and Caroline are strolling towards the viewing area with the Casino and other attractions on the Canadian side in the background.the viewing area for the American Falls is very up close and personal.
An old fashioned rose and rosehips.
It was a great two day trip and only a short drive from home.

  1. those houses look amazing. Were they open for public viewing or was this a "drive by"? I also really like the picture of the day. You have a knack for capturing those butterflies on the flowers.
