A day in Stratford

Caroline is a quilter (and hooks traditional Newfoundland rugs!) so we visited The Quilt in Stratford and for $7 each we viewed 70 quilts. They even provide dainty white gloves that you can wear if you wish to touch the fabrics. The funds raised from admissions and the auction go to support people who are living with cancer.
I rarely make it out of Stratford without a photo or two dozen of the swans on the Avon.
Yesterday was also a sad day for the city and the Stratford Festival. Richard Monette passed away and the City marked his passing with the flag at half staff on City Hall.
