Hawk Creek, East Aurora, NY

Geoff and I have long been visitors to western New York State (more specifically to Buffalo a few times per year to shop etc.) but every now and then we take the opportunity to do some sightseeing. We have often seen volunteers and birds from Hawk Creek Inc., a wildlife sanctuary, at Walden Galleria conducting their education outreach program. This weekend we visited Hawk Creek during their annual "Birds of Prey Day" - needless to say, it was a great photo-op so I had a lot of fun. The little fellow above is a Barn Owl.
