Unusual use for knee-highs

We took in the Canterbury Folk Festival in Ingersoll today, the skies were threatening rain while we were there but held off until we were safely home.

The brightly dressed fellow on the back of this golf cart was one of the Festival Jesters. He was quite pleased with himself - he'd discovered he could safely keep his $20 bill tucked into the top of his knee-high, greatest thing since sliced bread apparently.......surely I jest, no I don't.....

Ian Thomas was one of the acts on the line-up and we managed to catch his performance with Ken Whiteley and others at the gazebo (photo below). We heard him with "Lunch at Allens" a year or so ago and he's whittier than ever.
